L.D. Hanson

L.D. Hanson is a country music artist based in Michigan, that is known for his eclectic sound, e.g., his relatable lyrics that are full of pop energy, rock and roll edge, and a fresh unique country vibe. He is inspired by his love of singer/songwriters such as Jim Croce, John Denver and Don Williams. Hanson also pulled his style from groups such as CCR, Alabama, and The Band. He also mentions inspiration from Adam Ant, Depeche Mode, Orchestral Maneuvers in The Dark, George Straight, Clay Walker, Randy Travis and the beat goes on… With this he has an original sound that truly is a diverse blend of rock, pop, and country.

L.D. Hanson started singing at the age of six as he ran around the outside of his house singing “Jesus loves me!” at the top of his lungs. By the age of eleven poetry just came to him easily. His first poem was to the little dark-haired girl who sat in front of him. Later in college while taking a creative writing class he had been told he had natural meter without much thought while writing. To this day he credits God for his natural ability. His debut EP “Teardrop,” will be released early summer 2026.

The EP will be available through the consistent release of singles every month! He will have his own website, YouTube channel and offer his EP through streaming and CD sales. There will be exclusive behind the scenes content for each song released on YouTube and physical merch like CDs on the website.
